Who We Are
What is a Conservation District?
They are local agencies that work closely with the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) to help with the delivery of conservation practices that conserve soil, maintain water, and protect natural resources.
Established in 1946, Carroll County Conservation District works with towns and individual landowners to coordinate State & Federal conservation programs at the local level in the interest of public health, safety and welfare.

Our efforts are focused on concerns including water quality, erosion & sedimentation, wildlife habitats, health of forests & wetlands, non-point source pollution, and storm water & flooding.
